Ummm hello Spring! This warm weather outside has been makin' me real happy. But, my weather app says it's supposed to snow on Thursday...sooo that is definitely going to change things up. I'm more than ready for summer to be here! I've been thinking a lot lately... and I thought it would be fun to throw in a little fashion post here and there on my blog and I'm super stoked about it! I've always loved fashion but I think it has always scared me to share it with others. SO, bear with me as I take on this little journey!
I don't about you but when it comes this time of year, dresses are my go to! I looove this high-low wrap dress from Cotton Candy LA, paired with these shoes from Matisse Footwear. It is the perfect outfit for a warm spring day! And for all my short gals out there (myself being one), high low dress are SO FLATTERING ON US. Whenever I wear a maxi dress, I just look like I'm drowning in it because I am so short. And then I think that wearing some high heels with it will make it look better.... but no. Just no. So with that being said, if you're short like me, get some high-low dresses in your closet right now! You definitely won't regret it. The last thing I wanted to do on this post was a lil' FAQ! I just picked some random questions to answer about myself sooo here we go!
Q: How did you and your husband meet?
A: We met at Davis High School. He was a senior and I was a sophomore.... and the rest is history!!
Q: Do you work/go to school?
A: I am currently working at LDS Hospital while my husband finishes up school. My plan is to attend nursing school.
Q: How tall are you?
A: I am 5'4"
Q: Who does your hair?
A: I go to Syd Christensen at LIV studios in Sandy.
Q: Do you wear extensions?
A: I get this questions A LOT, and the answer is no! I have realllllly thick hair that grows like a weed.
Q: What makeup do you use?
A: I am not one that likes to spend a lot of money on makeup. I feel like I can find what I need at Smith's or Walgreens most of the time. A few things that I love right now are: No. 7 foundation, NYX blush, L'OREAL Voluminous Superstar mascara, Too Faced Chocolate Soleil matte bronzer (and YES, it really does smell like chocolate!), and the Carli Bybel eyeshadow & 4 color highlighter palette.
Q: How do you curl your hair?
A: I use this wand from NuMe to curl my hair (32mm).
