A Week Of Adventures

Hello! Or maybe I should start saying, hey ya'll! Andrew has started saying that and for some reason it drives me nuts! I promised him I wouldn't start saying it... but I guess we will see if it starts growing on me. Texas has been amazing so far. We have had quite the "vacation" (as I would call it). I swear every night we have plans to go somewhere or see something. In the past week we went to a festival in Grapevine, a Texas Rangers baseball game, a salsa festival at Klyde Warren Park, and top golf. I thought I hated golfing until I went to top golf! It was seriously so much fun, I highly recommend it. I guess they just barely opened one in Salt Lake City, so Andrew and I are super excited to check it out when we get home!

For memorial weekend we decided to take a trip to San Antonio! It's about 5 hours from where we live, so it wasn't too bad of a drive. On the way we stopped in Waco and checked out the Magnolia Market! Everyone had told us it was something we needed to see, so why not! I'm not gonna lie, I didn't even know who Chip and Joanna were (whoops). But yes, we did our research in the car so we didn't seem clueless tourists while we were there. It was the cutest market I've ever been to. The building was so rustic. Inside they had the most amazing home decor, souvenirs, jewelry, etc. Outside they had a garden, bakery, tons of food trucks, popsicle stands, and a huge play area for kids. The day we went was ridiculously hot/humid and 5 million people were there, so we made the stop short and sweet! On to San Antonio we go!

We had the most adventurous weekend! We explored the Japanese Tea Gardens, took a train ride around Brackenridge Park, drove around the King Henry district (the houses were HUGE and so beautiful), walked around the San Antonio Missions, toured the Alamo, took a river boat tour, walked all along the San Antonio river, went to the River Center mall, went to the most amazing Belgium bakery, and had Mexican food for every meal. I'm pretty sure we did everything on Trip Advisor/Yelp in San Antonio. It was such a fun weekend exploring and spending quality time with my hubs. He is such a champ for dealing with my constant complaints of being hot, having swollen feet, being dehydrated, and all my other hypochondria-tic problems. I promise I'm fun though. Anyway, we made it home safe! Now we are looking at flights to come home this weekend and it's not looking to promising (SO EXPENSIVE $$$). So see ya'll at the end of the summer! Enjoy the mannnnny pictures of us :)
