Oh Christmas Tree!

I feel like the song "Joy To The World" should be blasting as you read this! I last minute decided to put together this post to show you all my love for Christmas! I absolutely love to decorate for the holidays and Christmas is definitely my favorite. If you read my last post, I was talking about how upset I was that I couldn't find the Christmas tree I wanted from Target (It was on sale and everyone and their dog must have bought it hahaha) But.... I found one that was available! I had to call like 5 different Target's to get my hands on it... so crazy. But now it's safe and sound in our living room :)

Hi friends! I don't know about you, but one of the first things I notice about someone upon meeting them is their smile! It's one of those features that just always stands out to me. I am definitely one who thinks that the best accessory you can ever have is your smile.... and because of that I've always tried to keep mine super white! I've tried whitening toothpaste, crest whitening strips, and even whitening gel from my dentist. But I can honestly say I've never seen results like I have so far with Smile Brilliant. My teeth are seriously whiter than they've ever been. It literally blows my mind every time I use this stuff!

Making A Statement With Malus Marcoo

Happy Tuesday! Today I wanted to show off these amazing pieces that I was sent from Malus Marcoo. They are a company based out of San Francisco (woot woot!) and their clothing is so unique & fashionable. You definitely aren't going to be matching with anyone when you show up wearing one of their pieces. I am sooo obsessed with the bell sleeves & the embroidery on this top! The colorful flowers add the perfect amount of detail to the all-white. This shirt would also look super cute under a denim or black overall dress! I also love that this top is the perfect amount of "cropped." Not to short, not to long. Just perfect.

I always love trying new skin care products because I'm still trying to figure out what works best for my skin. This can be a long, ongoing, dreadful process (trust me I would know), but once you find out what works best for you, your skin will be happy and glowing! Happy Monday! If you follow me on Instagram, you know that I'm currently obsessed with "mom jeans." They are literally the comfiest jeans I own. Don't get me wrong, I'm still in love with all my skinnies, but these are a game changer for sure. I got these at Ross for $17 and I can say it is one of the best purchases I've made as of late. Ross for me is always a hit or miss... but when I find something good I head straight to the register! Usually their jeans aren't the best of quality.. they are usually jegging material not actual jean material... but these are 100% JEAN MATERIAL! I am not one that can spend a lot of money on jeans. I won't spend over $50.... so when I saw that these I was like YUP.. they're mine.

I'm Feelin' 22!

One thing I've always wanted to do is go to a field of strawberries and pick as many as I can and then sit and eat them until I'm sick. Well.... I got to check that off my bucket list last weekend! Turning 22 was definitely a good thing... ;) Last Saturday I woke up to the yummiest homemade breakfast and the most thoughtful gifts from my sweet husband. As we were eating breakfast he came over with a bag and said "SURPRISE! This is what we are doing today!" And inside the bag was everything we needed for a beach day! I've wanted to go to one of the beaches in San Francisco since we moved here, but we just haven't found the time for it... so I was stoked! We were going to go on a mini road trip to Santa Cruz!

Summer Linen Dress

Hi loves! Summer is in full swing! (At least it is in Utah ;)) I need to start getting used to the fact that San Francisco is my new home....not Utah. And it's definitely not summer here! Everyone has told us that July is actually one of the coldest months & come September it will be the warmest! So crazy! I'm definitely a four-season kinda girl.... so this will take some getting used to. Buuuut "winter" in July won't stop me from wearing dresses! I can wear them in my apartment and pretend it's summer... right???

4th of July Style!

Happy Monday! Can you believe that the Fourth of July is right around the corner?! The 4th has always been one of my all time favorite holidays for so many reasons; the parades, carnivals, barbecues, spending time with family, fireworks, annnnd getting to wear a cute red, white, and blue outfit ;) If you haven't picked out your patriotic outfit yet, you still have time! I got this cute striped top from Piper & Scoot and I am seriously obsessed with it because it's one of those shirts that you can wear everyday... not just on the 4th of July (and it also comes in red!). I paired this top with a cute overall dress from H&M and a red necktie that I got at Walmart for a dollar! I did the happy dance in the check-out line because I was so stoked. Obviously I didn't think it would be expensive but who doesn't love when something is a dollar. Anyway, I love that neckties are so in style right now. They are such a cute accessory & just add a little spunk to your outfit. I need to go back to Walmart and get one in every color now!

Hi guys! I had an amazing opportunity to do a collaboration with CaseApp and I am so excited to share it with you all! CaseApp is a website where you can design a custom iPhone/android case or a custom laptop skin. The website is so user friendly and it literally takes seconds to make the phone case/laptop skin of your dreams! They have so many different layouts you can choose from, and tons of different clip arts you can add as a final touch. You can also choose if you want your case to be glossy or matte. I chose matte because I like the look of it better. Annnd can we talk about the print quality??? The images on my cases are clear as day & the colors are as vibrant as they looked when I was designing them!

I never know where we are, where the car is, where our apartment is.... I could go on. But thank heavens for google maps! I'd be lost (literally) without it. PARIS!

Hi guys! It's been a minute since I've wrote. Buuuut I think I have a pretty good excuse ;) We were in Europe for two weeks! Andrew's parents took us as a way to celebrate Andrew graduating from grad school. I am not kidding when I say it was the most amazing two weeks of my life. It was a dream come true! I have always told Andrew that I wanted him to take me to Paris to see the Eiffel tower. Soooo with that been said... first stop.... PARIS! (Side note: I decided instead of doing a huge long Europe post, I would slowly do posts from each place that we visited! So stayed tuned for more!) 

Bridal Shower!

Hello loves! I recently threw a bridal shower for one of my best friends, Sammy Lunt, and I wanted to share with you all how amazingly-cute & perfect it turned out. The color scheme I decided on was pink, gold, and white. I had a ton of decor from my wedding that I knew would work perfectly for the shower, so that is where most of the decor came from. To plan the shower I literally sat on Pinterest for HOURS looking for food ideas, games to play, party favors, etc. Annnnd, I think it definitely all paid off. Pinterest is a life saver.... so many good ideas on there! Side note: when I am in charge of something... I literally go all out. I get it from my mama ;) I'll post all the pic's below and include details on how the shower played out! Hope you all enjoy!

Relocation Tips & More!

Hello my loves! It's about time I get on here and write a blog post! I have been so insanely busy and I feel like I haven't had any time to write. Side note: currently writing this 30,000+ feet up in the air on the plane back to SLC. But hey... I'm doing the best I can ;) I can finally say that all (well the majority) of my stress has subsided from this house hunting trip. Upon flying out to San Francisco I knew in my mind it was going to be a stressful trip but I don't think I realized the amount of stress that I was about to put on myself. I am a stress-case. I feel bad for anyone that has to be around me when I am stressed... because I am NOT myself. The four days that we were looking for apartments... I was a monster. And felt like crying every 2 seconds. I was treating this decision like a life or death situation.... hahaha (soo not necessary, but soo me).

Why I Started My Blog

I've been so busy lately and feel like I haven't had time to write a blog post. But today being my day off gives me every reason to sit down and write. I have been so productive today and I'm quite thrilled about it. My day has gone a little like this: woke up and went to the gym with my husband (we did Kayla and I literally don't think I'll be able to move my arms today..or at all), came home and made us breakfast sandwiches, cleaned up the house, figured out invitations for a bridal shower, called about financing for my wisdom teeth, (getting them out on Friday... wish me luck, I'm literally so scared) put in my Doterra order online, annnd now I'm sitting here writing this blog post with Nora Jones on repeat. I'm obsessed with her.

Stripes & Tie Sleeves

Hello my lovelies! I hope you all had an amazing Easter weekend! I know I did. I always love holiday weekends because I get to be with family. Family parties are seriously my favorite thing ever. Some people dread having to go hang out with their extended family but I am always sooo excited. I have a pretty awesome fam ;) Did anyone else literally eat their weight in treats over the weekend??? I got home after everything was over and felt 3 months prego because I literally kept going back to the dessert table for more hahaha. I have the biggest sweet tooth. It is a problem!!!!! Maybe that's why I literally can't stick to any sort of diet... hmmmm. OH well.

Spring Is In The Air

Hi guys! First off, I just wanna say thank you for all the love from my last post! You all are too sweet. & I couldn't do this without you! I've always loved to write but never really write down my feelings. Maybe I'll have to start doing that more often ;) It's nice to know I'm not the only one out there who needs to stop and slow down a little. Secondly, I think I can finally say it's Spring! The forecast is lookin' real nice & I'm ready to whip out my springy/summer clothes. Now if our plants out front would just bloom already I'd be one happy gal.

Just Stop

This is a rare moment in time when I just feel like writing. Writing about life. How I feel, what I'm thinking, etc. Right now I am so happy. I'm listening to Ed Sheeran on repeat and just thinking about my cute husband. We've had our ups and downs (as all couples do), but right now our relationship is better than it has ever been. I wake up so excited that I get to spend all day with him and just have him in my presence. I had a moment last week where I was just sitting on the couch watching Netflix and I just started thinking about all the times when I've been a naggy, OCD, boring wife.

Pretty In Purple

Hi guys! I hope you all are having a great week! Oooooooo we're half way there... (oooooo livin' on a prayer ;) ) that song will be forever stuck in my head. Not complaining though.. who doesn't like  a little Bon Jovi???? I've been a little under the weather this week and I am so sick of it! My throat is so itchy and sore. I have never been one to get allergies but I'm thinking that maybe something in the air caused it! Who knows... but hopefully it goes away soon. I love that because I started blogging, I have been compelled to be more creative and totally jump out of my comfort zone. I learn new things everyday and it truly is so exciting. Fringe on Fringe on Fringe

Hello my lovelies! I hope you all are having a great day. I was originally going to do this blog post yesterday but I got home from my 12 hour shift and literally passed out. Sooo sorry to make you wait an extra day! For those of you don't know, I work at a hospital on the maternity/postpartum floor. Aka I get to take care of the cutest babies in the whole entire world. It truly is such a rewarding job... except for the part that makes me so baby hungry (mostly;)) hahaha. They are SO CUTE. And SO TINY. I took care of a 5 pounder the other day and I was in baby heaven! I love the little teeny tiny ones. My last day at the hospital (before we move) will be on May 1st so I'm cuddling all the babies while I can!

Happy Monday! I hope you all had a great weekend and are ready to be amazing this week. Did anyone else's weekend just fly right by??? I know mine did. I don't know about you but I am secretly loving this rain. It gave me an excuse to stay inside and clean my entire house this morning! How fun right? Fri-nally!

It's finally Friday!! And it feels so amazing outside! This week went by so fast. Time in general goes by so darn fast. We are going to be moving so soon and I'm starting to freak out a little! I keep thinking I should start packing up my house or something?! (too soon??) I think the one thing that scares me about moving is that we have a general 'idea' of when we want to move back to Utah, but we really have no idea. Only time will tell.....! We are heading up to Park City tonight for dinner and will be staying the night at the Canyon's Resort. I'd say that's a nice way to kick off the weekend! Park City is one of my most favorite places. It's SO beautiful and there is so much to do.

Feel Happy In Your Skin

Hi guys! I always get questions about what skin care products I use on a daily basis so I thought I would write a little blog post about my skin regimen. I think it is SO important to feel happy and confident about your skin. When I have clear skin I am so much more positive about myself. Happy Sunday to you all! I love Sundays. They are definitely my most favorite day of the week. 1) I get to spend the whole day with my cute husband 2) we get to go to church and teach our hilarious primary class and 3) family dinner! Which means I don't have to cook :) Woot-woot! Andrew got home from Japan yesterday and he has been SO tired (can't blame him) and SO sick :( I think with traveling, time change, and just being on an airplane for 14+ hours... he came down with a little something. He also can't get rid of the pressure in his ears and I feel so bad for him! We both tossed and turned the entire night. Fingers crossed his ears will pop!

Fringe Jacket

Hello my fellow readers! I hope you've all had an amazing week. Since my husband has been out of town all week I decided to pack up my things and literally move into my parents house for the week. Can I just say how nice it is to take a shower in soft water? I definitely took that for granted living here. The soap just rinses right off you and your hair is actually brush-able after showering..... it's the little things! So if you have soft water... count yo blessings. It's been so nice spending some quality time with them, especially before we pack up and move to San Fran in a couple of months. It's been a fun week but I miss my husband so much! The time change between Utah and Japan really throws me off. He is 15 hrs. ahead of us soooo when it's day here its night there and vice versa. He is gonna have some majooooor jet lag when I pick him up from the airport on Saturday ;) but I'm sooo excited to see him! Moving on.... :) 

Rompin' Around San Diego

Hi guys! It's been awhile! I was in San Diego all week and the wifi wasn't working too hot. SO... sorry for the delayed post! I had the most amazing week. It was a much needed vacation! It was so nice to get out of Utah and go somewhere much warmer. The weather was sooo nice. Not too hot, not too cold. I'll give ya a little run down of our vacation...(I love to have these things written down to look back on). Also.. thank you to everyone who gave us recommendations of things to do/places to eat, you guys are the best!

Happy Hump Day!

Happy hump day! We are half way through this week... only two more days! Right now I'm counting down the days till Sunday because we are leaving to San Diego for a week! Every year we go on a trip with Andrew's family and this year San Diego is our destination. I literally have been so excited because we are going to Disneyland one of the days! I feel like such a little kid saying that but I have literally been begging Andrew to take me there since we got married and we are finally going. I truly think Disneyland is the happiest place on earth... duh!
